Default Master Volume Slider

I remember suggesting this nearly a year ago, and having many replies, but it's been a while and nothing has been done, so I thought I'd post it again.

I'd really like Guild Wars to have a master volume slider under sound options. That's all.

I'd like to see this too, and I doubt it would be too hard to implement.

I often listen to music while playing and it does seem odd that you have to move 4 sliders to turn down the game sound.

It annoys me to great extent to have to slide many sliders at once to reach my desired effect.

It's always surprised me too, because surely it'd take only a couple of minutes to implement - that, and, well, you'd just expect there to be one in the first place.

It seems to be something that really should be in the game. I like the game music myself so I wouldn't use it much, but it's so simple and so useful that it really should be added.

No reason why it wouldn't be there except that it would take time and resources from Anet to implement, though I doubt it would even take that much. It's fairly straightforward.

float masterVolumePerc = masterVolumeSlider.Pos()/masterVolumeSlider.MaxPos();

soundVolume *= masterVolumePerc;
musicVolume *= masterVolumePerc;

Tada... I just coded it for you. Copy and paste, Anet. What do I pay you for anyway?

sorry to rez this thread, but....
/signed.

Want to listen to music now, have to go through 4 sliders to take away music. And i have my sound effects set just the way i like it. Even if a variable slider is too hard, at least give us a mute check box or something. anything. please.

If it saves ~5 seconds of my time, then why not?

It only saves you 4 seconds max, I really don't see a reason to implement this.

Now a /storage would save loads of time, and a /merchant

I don't want it implemented because it takes too long to slide all the sliders back to the left lol. I'm not that lazy . I want it implemented because i have my audio settings set just right between effects and music, and i lose all that when i want to listen to real music. it isn't an exact science, but i'd like to be able to set the audio to exactly where i want it, and be able to listen to real music too when i wanted.

Edit: and the /storage and /merchant would be extremely useful too.

/signed for master sliders.

But not /sign for /storage or /merchant. One, because this is the wrong thread, and two because you'll be even more lazy. Might as well add /bot, /kill, /gh, and /zone. Might as well remove xunlai and merchants if you are implementing it.

I realize this is the wrong thread, but I figured it was somewhat related because this was basically asked for as a time saver.

I can't believe you just compared /storage to /bot and /kill... /storage doesn't give you "insta-win", its just annoying to run around a gigantic town (like Maguuma Stade) just to find storage.

Maguuma Stade is so big.. /sarcasm :P I know /kill and /bot was over the edge. But I'm just saying, you can always go to your storage and move around, you don't have to be near it to take things in and out.
